UFO: Blinking Orb Hovers Over Binghamton, New York

Date: 12 March, 2018.

Place: Binghamton, New York State, United States.

A few days ago, on 12 March, a very strange incident occurred in the city of Binghamton, New York.

According to an anonymous report published on Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) online database, a local resident affirmed to have seen “a pulsating light” hovering over the American town.

“I stepped out at 01:39 AM on 12 March, 2018. There were not street lamps on but a dark, save porch light. The sky was completely clear and bright with stars”, the witness described. “I was looking at the stars, and when I turned to the east I noticed a large pulsating/blinking light in the east, halfway above the horizon”, he added.

The Binghamton resident stated that the object increased it brightness in a few seconds. “It was stationary, pulsating with a bright, yellow light and growing larger with each sequential pulse. Mesmerizing”, he explained.

Moments later, a fighter jet appeared in the sky, and the UFO allegedly reacted to its presence. “Then, I heard a large jet coming in from the west, behind me. It flew and went overhead directly towards the light. However, our local airport (Greater Binghamton Airport) closes at 11:30 PM”, the American citizen affirmed. “The ball of light flashed brightly as if it had noticed the jet, and became a much smaller light that ascended at an angle towards the southeast”, he said.

Finally, he mentioned that, according to his experience, there are no visible stars in the area where the object appeared. “I am a novice astronomer and there are no known stars in the same space”, he stated. “The area of observation is elevated and there are no visual obstructions like trees or buildings. This object had not the characteristics of a meteor, and it appeared in an area that I have not noticed any commercial flight path”, he asserted.
